3. The ultraviolet light aging test chamber can reproduce the damage that may occur outdoors for months or years by simulating sunlight, condensation, and natural humidity, and the sample is tested in a simulated environment for several days or weeks;
4. In the ultraviolet accelerated aging test machine, the fluorescent ultraviolet of the ultraviolet lamp can reproduce the influence of sunlight, and the condensation and water spray system can reproduce the influence of rain and dew;
5. The temperature is controllable throughout the test cycle;
6. A typical test cycle is usually UV exposure at high temperature and a dark humid condensation cycle at 100% relative humidity;
7. Typical applications in paint coatings, automotive industry, plastic products, wood products, glue, anodized film, etc.
Test conditions:
1. The test sample is fixed on the test rack, facing the fluorescent lamp. When the sample is not filled with the sample rack, the blackboard should be used to fill the sample rack to keep the inner wall of the test box closed.
2. Test temperature. Three temperatures of 50, 60, and 70°C can be used for illumination, and 60°C is preferred; the temperature in the condensation stage is 50°C, and the temperature tolerance uniformity is ±3°C.
3. There are two cycles of 4H illumination, 4H condensation or 8H illumination and 4H condensation for each condensation cycle of illumination.
4. After the first illumination of 400-450H, each row of lamps needs to be replaced with a fluorescent lamp, and other lamps shall compensate for the loss caused by lamp aging according to the lamp cycle and replacement method. This operating mode ensures that the service life of each lamp is 1600-1800H.
5. When replacing the lamp, the water tray should be wiped dry and cleaned to avoid the formation of limescale.
